This facilitates efficient material handling, allowing forklifts and other equipment to move goods in and out of the facility seamlessly.

We are a full service supplier, offering sales, installation, service and parts for all types of loading dock equipment. Whether you’re looking to make your dock area more efficient, want to reduce energy costs, or are trying to add safety features, we’ve got the products and services you need to keep your operation moving at top speed.

LEVEL UP SOLUTIONS

The primary purpose of dock door levelers is to create a connection between the dock and the trailer, allowing forklifts and other material handling equipment to move goods back and forth easily. They compensate for the height variation between the dock and the vehicle.

WAREHOUSE DOCK & DOORS

Dock and door ramps are essential components in warehouses and distribution centers, providing smooth transitions for material handling equipment and vehicles between different levels. There are various types of ramps designed to accommodate different needs and configurations. Welch Equipment can repair, replace and install just about any.

STANDARD DOCK

A standard dock is a raised platform that aligns with the truck bed for easy loading and unloading. It is suitable for a variety of truck types, including dry vans and box trucks.

FLUSH DOCK

Flush docks are level with the warehouse floor, allowing forklifts and other equipment to move seamlessly between the warehouse and the truck. These docks are commonly used when space constraints or specific operational requirements necessitate a level transition.

EDGE-OF-DOCK LEVELER

Edge-of-dock levelers are mounted to the edge of the dock and provide a bridge between the dock and the truck bed. They are a more cost-effective alternative to pit-mounted levelers and are suitable for facilities with moderate loading and unloading requirements.

PIT-MOUNTED LEVELER

Pit-mounted levelers are installed in a recessed pit in the dock area, allowing forklifts to travel smoothly between the warehouse floor and the truck bed. They provide a more robust solution for high-frequency loading and unloading operations.

REFRIGERATED DOCK

Refrigerated docks are equipped with insulation and climate control features, providing a controlled environment for the loading and unloading of temperature-sensitive goods, such as perishable items.

DRIVE-IN DOCK

Drive-in docks allow trucks to drive into the warehouse for loading and unloading. They are suitable for facilities where space is limited and where quick access to goods is essential.

RAIL DOCK

Rail docks are designed for loading and unloading goods directly from railcars. They feature specialized equipment to facilitate the transfer of goods between trains and trucks.

DOCK AND DOOR MAINTENANCE, INSTALLATION AND SERVICE

Dock and door equipment are integral components of a well-functioning logistics and distribution system. They contribute to operational efficiency, safety, security, and overall facility performance, making them essential for businesses involved in material handling and storage operations.
